PARKING INSTRUCTIONS:

From I-95 or Florida’s Turnpike

1. Head west on I-595 West, exiting at University Drive also called SR 817 (Exit #5).
2. Continue South on University Drive to SW 30th Street/Abe Fischler Blvd.
3. Turn left (east) onto SW 30th Street.
4. Drive east past the Baptist Health Training Facility, turn right at the NSU North Campus entrance onto Ray Ferrero, Jr. Blvd.
5. The Alvin Sherman Library parking garage will be on the right. Parking is $1 / hour.

Parking, Buses, and Shuttles Parking Parking Garage

Parking is available in the Alvin Sherman Library parking garage located on the east entrance off Ray Ferrero, Jr. Blvd. Public parking costs $1.00 per hour with a maximum of 15 hours. Public parking is normally available on the first floor of the garage (location code 15804) and other areas when available (location code 15803). NOTE: NO BACK-IN PARKING.

Parking fees can be paid by using the PayByPhone application (service fee of $0.35 is applicable; Note: PayByPhone App now charges 15 cents for SMS Reminders and 15 cents for SMS Confirmations. However, users have the option to disable these notifications in the App) or at a pay booth in advance. There are two pay booths located near the elevators in the southeast corner of the garage. You will need your license plate number to make a payment.

Payment can be made with coin or credit card. Minimum coin payment is set to 5¢. However, minimum credit card payment is set to $2. There is a change machine (accepts $1.00 bill only) at the southeast corner of the garage by the elevators. In addition to the pay booth and PayByPhone application, we are also providing daily and monthly permits. Daily permits are $5/day per vehicle and monthly permits are $16.67/month per vehicle. Chargepoint Electronic Vehicle charging stations

There are two Chargepoint Electronic Vehicle charging stations located on the first floor of the Alvin Sherman Library parking garage. Both are located behind the ramp to the second floor and by the central elevators.
